Enhance strategies for reading, drafting, revising, editing, and self assessment.

Prior to starting this class, I normally would write my essays all in one go and turn them in the way they were, with little to no draft work. However, this class prioritizes peer review so I had no choice but to present my work to my classmates and to accept their advice. I am now not all that opposed to taking in criticism from my peers prior to submitting an assignment and now do it of my free will, often sending my work to my friends and peers and asking for feedback. I also take in a lot of feedback from reading other people’s work for giving peer review as I learn what I should do within my own work and what I shouldn’t. We also do peer review and feedback after we do final presentations of our work, which is still helpful as it helps me figure out what I can do better next time. Peer review creates an environment of learning from each other and collaboration, which is definitely a step up from how I originally was before this class.
